Las Vegas, NV – New footage has emerged showing the arrest of Atlanta rapper Lil Baby in Las Vegas, where he was seen offering a security guard a staggering $200,000 a year to assist him during the incident.

Arrest of Lil Baby Footage Released

On Wednesday, August 28, TMZ released a video capturing the moment Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was detained by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The arrest took place outside the Encore resort and casino on Monday, August 26, following a gun possession charge. The video shows Lil Baby being handcuffed near a police vehicle, pleading with a nearby security guard to call for help, and making the generous offer.

“I will give you 200 bands a year, you don’t make 200 bands,” Lil Baby is heard saying in the video.

The rapper, who insists he was wrongfully arrested despite having the necessary permits for the firearm, also informed the police that he had a flight to catch.

Details of the Arrest

Lil Baby was in Las Vegas to perform at NBA star James Harden’s birthday celebration at Drai’s Nightclub. The arrest occurred around 5 a.m. on Monday morning, with Lil Baby being charged with carrying a concealed firearm. He was subsequently released after posting a $5,000 bond.

Attorney’s Statement

Drew Findling, Lil Baby’s attorney, issued a statement to XXL regarding the arrest: “To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”

The incident has sparked discussions about the legality of Lil Baby’s arrest and the rapper’s attempts to resolve the situation.
