The Joy Releases “Bayang’khethela” Single After Coachella Performance with Doja Cat
Fresh from their electrifying performances at this year’s Coachella Festival alongside Doja Cat, South African vocal group The Joy has unveiled their latest track, “Bayang’khethela,” from their upcoming debut album set to release on June 21. The empowering song emphasizes the importance of choosing one’s own path in love and marriage.
After their Coachella appearance, Doja Cat released a digital album titled Scarlet 2 CLAUDE last Friday, featuring all three tracks with The Joy. The group lent their lead vocals to recent singles “ACKNOWLEDGE ME,” “DISRESPECTFUL,” and “Shutcho,” which were creatively reimagined to include Zulu lyrics.
Accompanying their new single is a performance video filmed by Up The Game, known for their work with artists like Liam Gallagher and Arlo Parks, during the live recording session at the prestigious Church Studios in Crouch End, London.
