DJ Zinhle & Murdah Bongz Cheating Scandal: What We Know So Far
Johannesburg — A fresh wave of allegations has engulfed South African power couple DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz. Blogger Musa Khawula claims that Bongz is involved in a romantic relationship with a 22-year-old woman named Kimberly (also known as “Kayling”), which would mark the latest in a string of cheating rumours surrounding the couple.
The Allegations Unfold
According to Musa Khawula’s posts on X (formerly Twitter), Bongz’s alleged affair involves a young woman from Chloorkop near Midrand, who reportedly once worked as a bottle-girl at a Johannesburg club. The age gap and connection to a nightlife environment have added fuel to the story.
Following the initial claim, DJ Zinhle posted an Instagram Story in which she said:
“I decided I’m going to let this thing go. I’m not going to respond to this… I don’t want to fight. I don’t want to explain myself.”
Morda Bongz’s Response
Bongz, whose real name is Bongani “Mörda” Mohosana, responded indirectly via social media. He shared a video of Musa Khawula singing Zinhle’s song “Sorry” captioned “Apology accepted…”, and in a separate clip declared: “Word of the day, f**k Musa Khawula.” Neither he nor Zinhle has yet released a formal public statement addressing the affair allegations.
Dj Zinhle’s Public Stand
In her Instagram story, Zinhle reflected on the challenge of staying silent, saying:
“I just want an easy life… but sometimes it is so hard to just let it go because people will just question things.”
In a separate media interview, she described her position amid the posts naming her husband:
“Nothing hit me harder than someone calling my husband inha (dog)… Then to justify what they said, they said I didn’t deny the allegations.”
What’s Next?
At present:
Neither Zinhle nor Bongz has provided a detailed, official response to the cheating claims. The alleged compromise of their personal reputation is playing out in real time on social media, with memes, comments and spotlight posts. Industry watchers will likely monitor how the couple handle the narrative, both privately and publicly.
